Proven Safe
In the TherMatrx PMA clinical study, no long-lasting side effects or adverse events were reported. Post treatment side effects like bladder spasms or hematuria were generally transitory, minor and self resolving. In addition, there was less than 1% decrease in sexual function. 1, 2

Exceptional Patient Tolerance
Only mild oral medications are needed for excellent patient tolerance and comfort during treatment. 1 The following is an example of typical medications prescribed by physicians.
- Ativan® 1-2 mg (PO)4
- Toradol® 10 mg (PO)4
- Levsin® 0.5 mg (SL)
- Cipro® 500 mg (PO)
No narcotics, IV sedation or prostatic block are recommended.
Proven Effective
In the clinical study, the American Urology Association (AUA) symptom score and peak flow rate both showed statistically significant improvement after treatment with TherMatrx® Office Thermo Therapy™. 1
